We're currently on the lookout for these positions: 

Retail Assistant

We're looking for a social butterfly who can surprise and delight customers at markets, retail pop-ups, parties, events and festivals. 

You'll be friendly, energetic and positive and super capable of working closely with others in a team. You'll also be trusted to take charge and work on your own when needed. 

Most shifts are Wednesday - Saturday, working flexible hours. All locations are based in Zones 1- 2 London. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Giving the best chat possible to our lovely customers to make sure each one wants to come back for more. 
  • Handling lots of donuts carefully and hygienically, making sure they reach hungry mouths in perfect condition.
  • Handling debit/credit card payments quickly and with accuracy. 

About the job:

  • Ideally should be available to start W/C 3 September 2018. 
  • Between 8-32 hours per week, depending on availability.
  • To be based within London Zones 1- 2. 
  • Flexibility is desired although we can work shifts around your schedule. Availability Wednesday-Saturday is essential. 
  • Experience in food, retail or hospitality preferred but not crucial.

Pastry Chef

We're looking for a wizard in the kitchen who’s super reliable, up for new challenges, that can handle working under pressure and can stick to very strict timescales. 

You must be friendly, energetic and positive and super capable of working closely with others in a team. You must also be trusted to take charge and make sure all tasks under your remit are completed properly with great attention to detail and on time. 

You’ll also need to know a lot about dough and preferably have experience of making donuts. 

Job responsibilities: 

- Making donuts from scratch: weighing and mixing dough, rolling and cutting out, frying. 
- Making jams, fillings, glazes and purees from scratch. 
- Decorating each donut with high attention to detail. 
- Managing time effectively to stick to strict production schedule. 
- Ensuring all necessary hygiene controls are adhered to. 
- Monitoring supply levels and submitting orders for stock replenishment. 

About the job: 

- Flexible hours depending on availability and demand. 
- Availablity Tuesday-Saturday essential. 
- Based in our kitchen in Dalston, East London. 
- Available to start immediately is an advantage but we’re willing to be flexible for the right person - please specify when you can start in your application.

Essential: 
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 preferred). 
- Previous experience in a professional bakery or kitchen and with handling dough.
